Templar Battleforce Elite App Reviews

Great story, Squad-based RPG

Very in-depth tech tree and ability to create different types of characters. Great story writing and a LONG game, definitely getting your money’s worth. One of the unique features of the game is the ability to re-spec your team in between battles, allowing you to try vastly different strategies based on your upcoming challenges. Trese Brother games are frequently updated and improved, easy to communicate with on their forums. Active user group to learn/compare strategies for gameplay really make a difference.

Great game

I love these tactical RPGs, reminds me a lot of shining force for sega but with guns and heavy mech suites. I dont understand why they dont just keep the price at $6.99, they keep pricing it at $9.99 which is still a fair price for the how good the game is, but its not fair that they constantly revert the price to $6.99 kinda shafting your player base if they arent aware of the sale.

Trese brothers game, nuff said

UPDATE: the new version adds more enemy variants for the later missions, and much appreciated quality of life improvements. 1. Squad based rpg 2. With a story 3. And a tech tree (I know...!) 4. And individual class skills 5. And a new game+ 6. That runs as smooth as butter on and ipad3 7. No IAPs, and no narrow corridors 8. With 7 difficulty levels with variable options for PERMADEATH, including none, ever, or fire-emblem grade "you only live once". Go buy it. These devs have a longstanding and well deserved reputation for making quality apps, which is what prompted this purchase without the need for a demo.

Biggest Conplaint at this point is Frequency of Updates

I have to keep writing reviews! Stop this madness! Also, cloud saves? ;)

A really good game

Been a very long time since I enjoyed a mobile game this much. Bravo!

Proof...

...that you dont need flashy graphics or use up 2 gb of memory to make a SUPERB game! What a total shocker this one was, way outta nowhere! Bought it almost out of boredom and desperation after scouring the appstore and buying alot of crappy games out there; I really didnt know what to expect but ten minutes into this app and I WAS HOOKED! Well worth the asking price I would have paid double for this utter gem! Trese brothers won my everlasting respect and thanks to the point where ill be buying all their games when as soon as I can afford them! Really folks, go read the other reviews, go look at how they support their stuff with updates, then just hit buy you wont regret it and like me it will soon be a top 5 of all your games on your iPhone/Pad. I literally have a good 20-30 hours into it, I dont think im at the halfway point, and it was obvious fairly quickly how much replayability this game really has! Im truly shocked, and totally glad I took a chance on this app, you will be too review reader...GET THIS GEM!

Templar Battleforce

I wound up buying this on a whim while it was on sale. Im so so so glad that I did! Because of it, Ive bought a couple other Trese Brothers games (Heroes of Steel & Star Traders 4X), and am thoroughly enjoying the bejesus out of all 3 of them. As for Templar Battleforce, its easily one of the best tactical/strategy RPGs Ive played on the iOS. The skill tree is... insane, the challenges are fantastic (7 difficulties!!! And every stage (almost every stage) has secondary objectives you can try and grab while also going for the move bonus (you get extra EX if you finish a stage under the par for moves), the UI/menu navigation is nice and clean (and was made even better in the recent update) - actually, speaking of updates... Trese Brothers are well known to have AMAZING post-release support for their games (go ahead, take a look at the update logs for their previous titles - Ill wait... ... ... ... crazy, yeah?). It seems like finding that kind of post-release support for iOS games is getting harder and harder these days. Anyway... if youre looking for a nice, deep, tactical RPG with a pretty nice plot to go along with it and have been seriously let-down by the onslaught of free, IAP driven, social T/SRPGs, this should revitalize your hope for the future of mobile strategy gaming - and, like me, youll probably wind up with a new development team to put on your own favorite devs list... =oD **update** After the last update was an actual CONTENT update, this latest one is mainly tweaks and quality of life changes/additions, with the one that stuck out the most to me on first glance being the Re-balanced and improved Hydra weaponry. Im definitely psyched to dive into this one later tonight and check it all out. I just cant believe that while working on a new game, the Trese Brothers are still devoting this much effort and time to tweaking their older games. Theres seriously an update at least every month, if not more. And serious updates too... not just bug fixes. These are the types of developers that we should be supporting in todays AppStore.
